How it works
Put your website in a .zip
Plain pages, or a website that runs its own program. Both go in the same .zip. Whatever your designer sent you, or whatever an AI assistant wrote for you. If you have nothing yet, we give you instructions to paste into an AI assistant and it writes the website for you.
Drop the file in
We open it, build it, and check it for two things. Passwords accidentally left in the code, and mistakes that would stop the site from loading. If we find something, we tell you what to change instead of publishing something broken.
Look at it, then put it live
You get a private preview first. Nothing is public until you say so, and if your team submits the update it waits for your OK.

- Folders per team, uploads from a phone, links you can send to someone outside the company that stop working after seven days, and earlier copies of a file kept for 90 days in case someone overwrites the right one.
- Control over who can change what
- Owner, manager and team member. An update submitted by a team member waits for a manager's approval, and every change is recorded with a name and a time.
- Websites that remember things
- On the paid plan a website can take bookings, orders and form submissions and store them, with no database to set up and nothing extra to pay for.

Questions people ask first
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You need a file. If you do not have one, the Build with AI page gives you instructions to paste into an AI assistant. You describe the website you want in your own words, and it writes the files.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your account goes back to the free plan and your websites beyond the first one stop being served. Nothing is deleted, not the files, not the uploads, not the records. Switch back and they come back exactly as they were.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, on a paid plan. Each website can use one address you already own. You add two records at whoever you bought the address from, and we take care of the security certificate. A free website keeps its ostiara.com address. We do not sell domain names ourselves and we do not plan to.
Who can see my files?
Only people in your company, and only the folders their role gives them. Accounts are separated at the database level rather than by a filter in the application, so one company's data is not reachable from another's session. How that works.
What kind of websites can you run?
Pages-only websites on any plan. On the paid plan, websites that run their own program in Node.js, including Express, Koa and Fastify. Some frameworks that ship their own server are not supported yet; if yours is one of them we say so before you pay, not after.
